Workshop Background

This annual Timber Harvesting & Procurement Shortcourse is scheduled for Sept. 7-11, 2008, and is sponsored by Forest Resources Association (FRA), CAT,  and Auburn University. It is designed for foresters and land managers is a very good workshop for new forestry employees or those who wish to sharpen skills.

Attending this workshop counts for 18 hours of LCE.credit (and 18 hours of CFEs)  for ARK PRO loggers and foresters. Please contact George Lease at ATPA 1-888-403-2232 to receive approval for LCE credits in advance of attendance.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Entry-level to mid-level procurement personnel and those land management foresters who desire an advanced level of timber harvesting and procurement knowledge.
